Scientists from the Centre for study of composite materials in Malaysia have been established a speed record for laboratorial receiving carbon apatite, which is used in making of artificial bone tissue.
Now for this extremely important for medicine process, that before takes two weeks, now needs only 36 hours, forward RIA "News" from Kuala Lumpur. The process for obtaining the transplant consists of mixing dry composite materials, which are extruding under certain temperature and pressure.
This invention will allow not only accelerating the process of preparation of artificial bone tissue, but will significantly low costs of the transplant. The scientists are planning rapid implementation of the invention in all over the world. It is expected that the product will have a great demand, because only the U.S. market annual turnover of artificial bone tissue is nearly 460 million dollars.
